Job Description

Key Responsibilities:*

*Surface Preparation:

1. Clean, sand, and degrease surfaces.

2. Remove rust, corrosion, and old coatings.

3. Fill imperfections and smooth surfaces.

Paint Shop Support:

1. Assist painters with masking, taping, and protective covering.

2. Mix and apply primers, fillers, and coatings.

3. Maintain paint shop equipment and supplies.

Quality Control:

1. Inspect surfaces for imperfections.

2. Ensure adherence to quality standards.

3. Report defects or issues.

Safety and Maintenance:

1. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

3. Report maintenance needs.

✅ *Requirements*

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. 1-2 years of experience in paint shop preparation or related field.

3. Knowledge of painting and surface preparation techniques.

4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

5. Basic math skills and attention to detail.
